Course programme

For anyone under 19, a minimum of 4 GCSE passes at Grade C or above, to include Maths and English, are required. Mature applicants without formal qualifications but with experience in work-related areas are encouraged to apply and will be assessed at interview.


You will study, to Level 2, a wide selection of subjects to enable you to be fully conversant in this chosen career. These include:


Upon successful completion of this course you can progress on to an Electrotechnical Installation Level 3 full-time course. Alternatively you could find an apprenticeship or employment as an installation electrician, maintenance or service engineer, although you would usually require the further electronics course in addition.
