Course programme

This advanced e-learning programme is designed for learners and tutors studying for the 2330 Technical & Part P Defined Scope Certificate. It is based on fully interactive multimedia with audio, video, text using 2D and 3D animation and virtual reality. The programme consists of eight ‘tutorial-based’ e-Learning modules with end assessments and five scenarios. Learners will be able to freely select the required module, learn about it using highly interactive sections and explore superb 2D/3D graphics and animations. At the end of each module, they will undertake very carefully designed self-assessments to test their knowledge. Constructive feedback will be shown at the end including scores and recommendations.

  • Module 3: Electro-Technology Principals

    Basic Electrical Principles, Ohm’s Law, Basic Circuit Theory, Resistors in Series, Resistors in Parallel, End Test.

  • Module 4: Electro-Technology Practical

    Safe Isolation, Test Instrumentation, Electrical Supply Systems Control and Protective Equipment, Earthing and Bonding, End Test.

  • Module 5: Electrical Installation Principles

    Electrical Regulations, Visual Electrical Safety Checks, Power Supply Systems, Lighting Circuits, Ring and Radial Circuits, Spur Outlets, Commissioning, End Test.

  • Module 6: Electrical Installation Practical

  • Module 7: Electrical Maintenance
