eMarketing is increasingly playing a bigger role in an organisation’s marketing plan. Today, most businesses have a Web site presence and a large percentage of them have begun to see how important it is to integrate eMarketing into their Marketing Communications' plans. For many eMarketing is the driving force behind their marketing plans.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s eMarketing Award is the most recognised Internet Marketing qualification in the UK and more and more companies are realising the benefit of having their employees gain this qualification. Marketing Tom Media is pleased to be one of the CIM's Accredited Centres for delivery of this qualification.

Teaching Method
The course offers a balance of lecture-style presentation, individual work, group work and online exercises. The course is held in a relaxed, informal setting which we believe facilitates better participation from students and allows them to explore the Internet Marketing strategies they will implement for their companies or organisations. Once the course is completed students are able to email us with their queries on the eMarketing dissertation and to discuss any of the material that we covered on the course.

Assessment
In order to achieve the eMarketing Award students are required to:

  1. Complete a 4,000-word Internet Marketing report
  2. Undertake a 60-minute online multiple choice test

Students need to achieve a pass-mark or higher in both to receive the award.

Length of Course
The course is taught over 4 days – generally speaking these are held over two consecutive weeks, so as not to inconvenience either students or employers too much.

Cost
The cost of the course is £795 (exc. VAT) and includes 4 days' tuition at our delivery centre on the outskirts of Cardiff. The cost includes:

  • Welcome pack and course materials
  • Full access to our online knowledge centre with useful documents and links
  • Support from one of tutors to complete the assessment

There is also an assessment fee and membership fee payable to the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Currently it is £190 for non-members and £70 for CIM members.

The eMarketing Award Courses are run either monthly or bi-monthly throughout the year.
