About this course
This course aims to teach those caring for children the skills and confidence to deal with medical emergencies, such as choking and CPR.
This course is aimed at parents or grandparents who want to learn basic paediatric first aid skills, at those working with children who are not required to comply with Ofsted's Childcare Register or EYFS requirements, and for those who want to support Paediatric First Aiders.
The only requirement is a basic level of English, and enough physical flexibility in order to do the practical parts of this course (ie, participants have to be able to get down on the floor in order to put someone in the recovery position and to apply CPR).
Passing this course leads to the NEW Certificate in QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF), which is nationally recognised and is valid for three years.
This QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) course is an Ofqual Regulated Qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards, and at only £70 is very good value for money.
Depending on the candidate, we can talk to them over the phone, email additional information or send further info by post.
