Rob Woollen

In his Master's Degree in Work and Wellbeing, Rob Woollen explored the relationship between "good work" and employee health -with a specialist interest in personal and organisational resilience. Passionate about providing strategies to enhance resilience that are both backed by evidence, and accessible to normal busy people, Rob speaks internationally on the subject at both professional and academic conferences. He continues his research as a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, and the Higher Education Academy.
Course programme
On completion of this course, attendees will be able to: List the business benefits of looking after employee wellbeing. Describe the reciprocal relationship between work and health. Identify and react appropriately to stress in others. Discuss the management of common health problems. Assess the benefits of mediation in workplace disputes.
