- The level 2 foundation Apprenticeship in Accountancy start with basic accounting concepts including: Recording Income and Payments, Trial Balance, Information for Management Control, Working with Information Technology (including computerised accounting), Health and Safety at Work and Achieving Personal Effectiveness
- Level 3 Intermediate goes on to cover the preparation and maintenance of financial records and final accounts, recording and evaluating costs and revenues, preparing reports and VAT returns
- The course combines examinations with regular skills tests.
- Completion of a portfolio of evidence from assessment within the workplace will be required to complete the NVQ.
- Once level 2 is complete candidates can progress onto an Advanced Apprenticeship level 3, then onto complete a stand alone level 4 NVQ.
- Technical Certificate - Centrally assessed core knowledge and understanding embedded within the NVQ AAT
- NVQ Level 2 Qualification - NVQ 2 in Accounting (Association of Accounting Technicians)

- Communication Level 2
- This provides you with the opportunity to refresh your Maths and English skills (Concessions may be available for prior qualifications in Maths and English if completed within the last 5 years)
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities - Knowledge of the responsibilities and rights of workers, the role of the organisation within the wider industry and the effect of public law and policy on Industry are evidenced by completion of a workbook provided by AOSG during induction
