EN2 Krew

EN2 Krew is the tag chosen by our Street Dance students. The classes are run by Expression Arts Trust, an Enfield-based charitable organisation which primarily provides art-based activities for young people.

Much has been said in the press recently about the positive benefits of dance classes for promoting physical and mental well-being and our classes were set up for the very same reasons. Street Dance classes prove to be popular with girls and boys, men and women, and we have found that our classes have been attended by both sexes more or less in equal numbers. The recent rise to prominence of Street Dance troupes such as Diversity and Flawless from Britains Got Talent and Street Dance featuring heavily on other recent television shows such as Got To Dance and So You Think You Can Dance, has brought this genre of dance further into the spotlight (which is excellent news for us!).

Our Street Dance are tailored to the specific age groups. The classes start with a structured warm up and each week the students work on learning and refining their moves and routine which they will peform at the end of each term. New students can of course join at any time knowing that they will be catered for.

We also provide services to schools. Our teachers are experienced in working in the school environment and we have been asked to assist with anti-bullying lessons, PE and arts sessions.
