Our programme in Endodontic Practice focuses on evidence based learning and the transition of this into clinical practice. You will be able to develop your knowledge and skills alongside enhancing your own clinical practice and will be taught by senior clinicians and experts in the field of Endodontics with vast experience in all clinical treatment modalities. You will be mentored by experienced and active practitioners, able to understand both your professional needs and your time constraints.
Using distance learning and an innovative e-portfolio, you will interact with your own patients in your own practice whilst receiving advice and feedback about your clinical cases. You will participate in tutorial based learning and practical training workshops held at Warwick Medical School and in the University’s specialised Training Centre in Royal Leamington Spa. Facilities include an education suite and a state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratory.
Our flexible course structure enables practitioners to harmonise their academic, professional and personal lives. Taken over a period of three to five years, this course offers colleagues the opportunity to progress from Certificate to Diploma to a full Masters qualification in Endodontic Practice.

About this course
This course is for practising dentists who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in endodontic care whilst still continuing with their current clinical commitments. The course is also suitable if you wish to be considered a dentist with enhanced/extended skills or with special interests in endodontics.
In addition, the MSc may be a stepping-stone to specialisation; further study, training and examinations after the course. Fulfilling the requirements of the Curriculum for Specialist Training in Endodontics may lead to entry into the General Dental Council (UK) Endodontic Specialist Register.
All students must:
1. Hold a license to practice dentistry and be in clinical practice (BDS, LDS or international equivalent).
2. Be a current registrant of the General Dental Council (or international equivalent for overseas candidates).

Clinical Quality Improvement and Risk Management
You will also undertake this module in Clinical Quality Improvement and Risk Management, which is focused on the application of clinical governance in the general practice environment and will incorporate dental law and ethics in practice.
