The Engineering City & Guilds Certificate Level 1 course has been specifically designed to provide an introduction to a broad base of engineering skills, knowledge and understanding. You will study engineering manufacture, welding and electronics and English and Maths as part of your main programme.

- Fitting Techniques
- Engineering Machining, Milling/Turning
- Welding Techniques
- Health and Safety
- Using and Communicating Technical Information
- Electronics or Electrical installations
- English, Maths and Progression into Industry
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs (grades A*-E), including English and maths.
Career Opportunities
Successful students will be able to progress to employment whilst continuing their study via the day release programme or apply for an Apprenticeship.

Further education and training, for example, the Engineering Level 2, or Welding and Fabrication Practice courses.
