Course programme

Hands-on Learning Opportunities in a Community Environment

At Saint Mary’s, our engineering courses are small—most are limited to a maximum of 40 students and our second-year courses average fewer than 30 students—and offer plenty of opportunity for individualized attention and student-professor interaction. Students, professors, and classmates get to know each other on a first-name basis, which makes asking questions and seeking help easy. It also comes in handy as students engage in group projects like the twice-annual Design EXPO & Robot Competition.

Whether it’s modelling and creating student’s own ideas on our 3D printers, testing the strength of student-designed structures, programming automated devices, or disassembling and rebuilding common household items, Saint Mary’s Engineering offers plenty of hands-on design projects and laboratories.
