For 2016 entry
- 200 UCAS points, including A Level Maths at grade D with either one science subject or electronics.
- BTEC Extended Diploma in Electrical and Electronical Engineering with an overall grade of DDM including a merit in both mathematical L3 modules.
- International Baccalaureate - 30 points overall including Higher Level Maths and a Science subject at Grade 4.
- Access Course - We do not accept any Access qualifications for this course
For 2017 Entry
- 80 UCAS points, including A Level Maths at grade D with either one science subject or electronics.
- BTEC Extended Diploma in Electrical and Electronical Engineering with an overall grade of DDM including a merit in both mathematical L3 modules.

Assessment is continuous and is mostly based on practical assessments and periodic written tests to demonstrate your knowledge.
Progression onto the relevant degree course at City University London is automatic on passing the Foundation Year.
The degree courses are:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Computer Systems Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Engineering with Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Telecommunications.
It may be also possible to transfer to a Mechanical, Civil, Motor Vehicle or Aeronautical Engineering degree course depend on your overall achievements average mark and agreement between the two departments.
