on pneumatic/ hydraulic equipment and circuits, assisting in the installation

of fluid power equipment and carry out quality inspections

Lift Services

Carry out planned and emergency fault diagnosis on lifts/escalators,

inspecting and servicing lift/escalator equipment, rectifying and repairing

faults in lifts/escalators and carrying out quality inspections Plant and Systems

Maintenance

Carry out planned and emergency fault diagnosis and maintenance on

mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, modifying or restoring

plant/systems to usable condition by repair, producing replacement

components, assisting in the installation of equipment and carry out quality

inspections

The exact content of the BTEC L3 Diploma will be dependent upon the candidates’ role within their company.

Functional Skills will be delivered via weekly classes at college, starting in September (unless exempt).
