Engineering Manufacture incorporates both of these responsibilies, builing things and making them work. No matter what field of manufacturing you want to go into, this Apprenticeship will teach you the skills you need to succeed. Every industry of manufacture needs often complex machinery to keep it going, so your skills will be in demand wherever you go. On this Apprenticeship, you will learn the skills you need to meet the demands of any company, helping create and maintain the systems and machinery used to ensure production runs smoothly. As an Apprentice, you'll be earning while you learn. You'll be required to attend the College on a weekly basis in conjunction with working at a local company, learning the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the industry, as well as gaining recognised qualifications to give you the edge in a competitive industry.

Entry requirements
Acceptance on this Apprenticeship will be determined through completion of Functional Skills entry assessments with our Work-based Learning team and a vocational assessment carried out by the engineering team at the College.

The Intermediate Apprenticeship Framework will include:
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma – completed at work with the help of a College assessor.
- Level 3 Technical Diploma – completed at College with various tutors.
- Functional Skills for maths, English and ICT level 2 – completed at College.
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) – completed at work alongside the NVQ3.
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) – completed at work and College.
