About this course
Standard entry to this course requires one reference and it is desirable that you can demonstrate 90% attendance on a previous course of study. A GCSE in English, maths, science and one other subject at grade 3 (D) or above is required.

Course programme
Year 1
Students will study eight units covering a range of vocational subjects related to the field of engineering technology, including the engineered world, investigating an engineered product, interpreting and using engineering information, mathematics for engineering, health and safety, computer-aided engineering, electronic circuit design and construction and science for engineering. You will also complete Functional Skills in English and maths or GCSE as appropriate.
