Study themes from Medieval Welsh, British and European History, through to Renaissance and modern History alongside English. You'll combine your analysis of the created worlds of fiction with investigations of the social and political realities that produced them.   Both subjects will help you to become a fine-tuned critic, analytical thinker and writer, as you open up a wide range of career opportunities.

Year one introduces students to a range of written genres and historical periods and provides a comprehensive platform for the more detailed study undertaken in year two.
