Course programme

Students will cover all the principles of Drama, including rehearsal and performance techniques.

Designed to build confidence and give students an understanding of dialogue, as well as create awareness of physicality. Students also learn how to create a character through text analysis, while learning to use voice and body correctly. They are taught by actors, directors, dancers, and singers, who are currently working in the Business, and, therefore, get a true impression of what being an actor/presenter is really like.

Drama Studies will include:

Improvistion, text work, mime, acting for TV and film, animal study, Oscar Wilde, Bernard Shaw, some Modern Playwright and an Introduction to Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Stanislavsky.

Enables students to understand the psychology of acting. Students will also learn how to create a character through analysis of English texts, while learning how to use voice and body correctly, thus preparing the students for an in-house performance in English.
