Overview Are you interested in the power of words? Study English and Media at Leeds Trinity University and you will learn more about how great writers from Shakespeare to Toni Morrison have used words to express themselves and to influence the world around them. Student satisfaction is high, and employment prospects are good.
This is a joint honours programme that will teach you how media organisations work with words being their most powerful tool.

Course Benefits A vocational media course combined with study of the great texts of English literary history.The chance to get involved with creative writing and work with published writers.Consistently high scores in student surveys for teaching,support and guidance.The opportunity to participate in public events such as the annual Writers’ Festival and National Poetry Day.
Typically, our entry offer for this degree course is 104 UCAS tariff points.
Other requirements: For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in English Language. In addition, applicants usually have an A Level (or equivalent) in an English-related subject but this is not essential.
