The Stadler Center focuses on promoting poets and poetry while also recognizing our expanded offerings in other literary genres. The center offers a wide variety of programs that promote the advancement of the literary arts on and off Bucknell's campus.

Founded in 1977 and housed in the Stadler Center, West Branch is Bucknell's national journal of poetry, fiction, essays and reviews. Students with an interest in publishing have the opportunity to apply for a competitive, semester-length, non-paid internship, which is open to qualified sophomores, juniors and seniors in any major.

Bucknell offers merit scholarships to applicants who have extraordinary talent in the arts. Students studying creative writing, literature, film/media studies, art & art history, music and theatre are eligible for scholarships that range from $2,500 to $20,000 per year.

Located in the heart of campus, Hildreth-Mirza Hall is the home for the humanities at Bucknell. Housing Bucknell's Humanities Center, the Bucknell University Press and other humanities-focused initiatives, it offers students a relaxed environment to study in groups or the privacy to work alone. Students from all majors are welcome to use the hall.
