English as a Foreign Language - Certificate of Proficiency in English

You will study all four skills - Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, in addition to grammar and use of English. As well as preparing thoroughly for the CPE exam, you will also develop your ability to use English in everyday life.

There are no formal entry requirements, however learners usually complete the Cambridge Advanced English test or equivalent before joining the course.

You will achieve the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). The exam itself has a registration fee of £110 and you will need a course book which costs £20.

CPE is accepted in many countries as proof of ability in English for those who would like to teach it. CPE is also accepted by most UK universities as an appropriate level of English for entry.
