English for IELTS

A specific score in the International English Language Testing System is widely requested by universities in English-speaking countries as proof of a student's level of English. The system tests reading, writing, listening and speaking.

At Harrow Academy UK we prepare students for the IELTS test in private lessons. Students must be at least intermediate level to begin a programme of IELTS lessons.

Private lessons for IELTS are by appointment between 13.30 and 17.00 on weekdays.

We believe flexibility is very important for our students. General English classes are available daytime and evenings

Start and finish dates are flexible so students don't have to wait for the next term to start - they can begin studying immediately. Students can also choose the number of hours per week that they want to study - from 4 hours/week (evenings) to 15 hours/week (daytime).

Some classes are designed to prepare students for Cambridge examinations such as Proficiency, Advanced or First Certificate.

We also offer private lessons to students with specific needs or those wishing to prepare for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test. Private lessons are usually arranged by appointment in the afternoons.
