Course programme

This course runs for three hours per week for 20 weeks

A C grade or higher in GCSE English Language is a requirement for many Further and Higher Education courses. Most employers also look favourably on applicants who have passed GCSE English Language.

You will sit an initial assessment in the first class to determine whether you have the necessary skills to succeed at GCSE English in 20 weeks. If the assessment suggests that you need to improve your basic skills before beginning the GCSE English course, you will be referred to another, more appropriate, class.
