Course programme

The ESL Program offers intensive classroom instruction and weekly enhancement activities for students who are preparing for undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Students with TOEFL scores below 550 (for the paper-based TOEFL) and/or TOEFL scores below 80 (for internet-based TOEFL-IBT) (or equivalent English language proficiency exams) are required to enroll in the program before matriculating into degree programs. Upon entrance, students are given a placement test to determine their level of English proficiency.
