George Orwell: Nineteen Eighty-four The Syllabus This course prepares students for AQA GCSE English Literature syllabus 3711, for examinations in 2005 and later years. We have chosen this syllabus as it is the most suited to Distance Learning. Assessment is by one written paper (70%) and coursework (30%). Special Requirements A reasonable level of proficiency in written English is assumed. Coursework Distance Learning Students need to submit a folder of coursework to their examination centre.
