Poetry and Prose (Exam 60%)
Coursework (40%)
The three units give you an opportunity to study a range of texts from different periods and genres

Teaching styles
Teaching is by a variety of methods including group work, individual study, whole class teaching. Student research and presentation is also a feature of the course.

Assessment
Assessment is by closed book examination as well as through coursework.

Key feature
A number of educational trips are organised each year, including visits to London and theatre performances.

Progression
The qualification is widely accepted and respected by universities and employers.
