What's it all about?:
Knowing how to communicate well in English can have a huge impact on your life and work. These days, many jobs require you to have key IT skills and our course will give you a great chance to combine both. In our fun, friendly, informal atmosphere you'll be able to relax and improve your English speaking, reading, writing and listening ability and practise your new found IT skills too. We will encourage you work towards nationally recognised literacy qualification.

A range of progression courses are available at the College.

There are no specific entry requirements.

Duration: 20 - 30 hours

Business Benefits:
To increase ability and confidence with the use of Literacy and IT in the workplace.

Course Overview
What does the course involve?:

This is a basic English course taught alongside the development of basic skills in ICT. You will have an initial assessment of their learning needs with our Skills for Life specialist staff. The course includes continuous review of your progress and students' work towards a literacy qualification.

When can I study?:
Roll-on-roll-off

Are there any exams?:
Assessment is carried out at the start of the programme to determine strengths and areas for development. You undertake external assessment at the end of the course.
