Course programme

What will this course cover?

  • The aim of this module is to consolidate learning in relation to your area of practice and to engage you in the process of developing practice through critical reflection. It will enable you to develop the reflective skills to enhance knowledge, understanding and practice through the evaluation and critical analysis of experiences.
  • In consultation with the module leader you will identify an area of practice which is of interest and has clinical relevance to you. You will analyse your practice in relation to recent learning events (e.g. attendance at study days, conferences or clinical experiences), critically reflecting upon how this learning has enhanced and developed your practice.
  • You will apply theory to practice and identify areas for further development in relation to your personal development plan (PDP).
  • This course is also available at Level 6, (30 credits).
