We offer Entry Level 2 Digital Employability, which is suitable for someone who wants to learn how to use a computer; how to open and close documents, send an email and save work so that you know what to do in the future. Staff will guide and support you to learn and develop your skills, creating an individual learning plan that helps you to build your confidence in computing. You can then progress onto the Entry Level 3 Programme. You’ll also study English and Maths to help improve your current skills.

Entry Requirements
As no formal qualifications are required, the tutors at Stockport College will interview you and carry out an initial assessment to see what skills you already have and then place you on the most appropriate level

Course Duration
One year – Full time.

Skills and Benefits
Learners will be able to :Use digital devices to find and request information and they will be able to send and reply to messages and emails. • English (practical skills you will need for life and work) • maths (practical skills you will need for life and work) • enrichment (horse riding, swimming, football, etc.) The Foundation Learning Department is small and friendly. You will make new friends and develop new skills.

There is one unit to complete where you will: Use digital devices to find and request information Send and reply to messages and emails

Course Assessment
You will complete evidence booklets that are assessed by our tutors.

Progression
The main purpose of this qualification is to support the learner to overcome barriers to entering employment.
