The Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) Entry into Enclosed Space course provides training that delivers the knowledge requirements set out in The Merchant Shipping (Entry into Dangerous Spaces) Regulations 1988, IMO Resolution A.1050 (27) Revised recommendations for entering enclosed spaces aboard ships and the Code of Safe Working Practices for Merchant Seafarers 2015.The course will provide delegates with a grounding in the aspects to consider when entering, working within and escaping from an enclosed space. The following objectives will be explored:
