Entry Level RARPA Engineering

You will be working in the Engineering/Motor Vehicle Workshops and you are expected to bring your own safety footwear to College. You are also expected to bring your own scientific calculator to all theory lessons. There will be an additional charge for the Study Programme of £30 to provide you with industry standard essential Personal Protective Clothing (PPE) for use in the workshop and on work experience placements.

4 GCSEs (Grade E or above). A strong interest in Engineering and Motor Vehicle is essential to achieve the Study Programme.

In addition to the entry qualifications listed, the offer of a place on the course is subject to the outcomes of initial assessment, which will be taken at the College as part of the admissions process. Please note that entry criteria may vary quite significantly between courses at the same level. This is to take account of the specific skills needed for success on particular courses, the length of the course and the requirements for progression to the next level. Entry criteria are given as a guide, and the exact requirements in order to obtain a place on a particular course will be confirmed following attendance at a Welcome Event/Interview.

Your work is assessed by a portfolio of assignments, a tutor report, a personal action plan and work experience is offered to qualify students.
