Course Description:
For young people who need to improve their skills to gain entry to employment, an apprenticeship, a vocational qualification or those who are unsure of what they want to do. Designed to be fun using interesting projects for you to take part in.

Description Breakdown:
You will take part in topical projects that are designed to be fun and at the same time improve your skills. Projects are accredited using units from a national qualification; you will collect units of credit towards the qualification which will be awarded at the end of your programme.
The projects are delivered part in college with some outside of college activities as well. A new project will start every 6 weeks. The projects are designed to improve your personal and social skills and include things like communication skills, working with others and team building. You will have the opportunity to develop your functional skills which are skills needed for everyday life and work.
You will have a review week at the end of each project to assess your progress. The review week will also include enrichment activities like indoor wall climbing, salsa, street dancing, box fit, coaching for football, badminton and cricket as well as many other activities.
