The NCFE Level 3 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services is part of the Cornwall College Military Academy and is designed to prepare potential recruits for entry to the Armed Forces. There is one full time course per year starting in September and completing in June. The programme is portfolio based therefore there are no examinations. All theory and practical assessment will be conducted in the class room or out-doors as suitable. Learners will undertake practical military training and education in order to equip them with the necessary skills to enable them to make decisions on which service to apply for and to prepare them in all respects for initial selection. Alongside the main qualification learners will undertake one GCSE and one functional skill in English and/or maths dependant on their entry qualifications.

Course programme
There are no specific academic entry requirements. However, this course is A level equivalent and can accrue 120 UCAS points. Therefore, learners should be able to work at level 3 in English and maths. Learners will compulsorily undertake one GCSE and one functional skill in English or maths dependant on their entry qualifications.
You will improve your fitness and stamina as well as learning military skills such as living in the field, camouflage, concealment and survival.

You will take part in two five-day residential military camps, one three-day survival skills camp, two overnight exercises and two five day military competency exercises.
