Many of us are concerned about the impact of modern society on the natural world. From global warming to biodiversity loss, environmental issues have potentially profound implications for future societies. Tackling environmental problems is a social and political challenge which requires a multidisciplinary perspective, meaning we need to be able to draw on knowledge from a range of academic fields. Environment, Society and Sustainability presents a unique degree by drawing on expertise across the departments of the University whilst delivering a coherent student-centred course.
