Our countryside is home for a variety of plants and animals yet the pressures on their habitats are continually increasing through urban development. This course offers those interested in preserving our natural heritage an opportunity to continue their personal development whilst working in the conservation industry. The course involves studying for an NVQ plus supporting qualifications. Practical skills are learnt in the workplace supported by part-time attendance at College.

What are the entry requirements?Minimum qualifications:
A good level of communication and numeracy skills, three GCSEs and a commitment to environmental conservation.
What can I do after this course?On completion of this course you may wish to progress to the next appropriate course or continue your employment. Alternatively you may wish to change direction and pursue courses such as the National Diploma in Countryside Management.
