What will I learn?
Environmental Science is the study of the environment and the place of humans within it. It has a lot of relevance to issues surrounding daily life. Scientific concepts, social, economic and political aspects of environmental management are focused upon. Issues are raised about how humans affect the world and opportunities are given to learn objective and critical approaches to environmental politics.
What qualifications do I need?
We would normally require candidates to have the standard sixth form entry criteria including GCSE Mathematics and at least one other science both to at least grade C or above.
Career opportunities:
Progression to higher education or careers in conservation, pollution control, environmental health or the renewable energy industry.
