What you need to know
How will I study?

Units include: work base placement; improving own learning; caring for animals; grooming and washing horses; livestock accommodation; monitoring livestock outdoors; health and wellbeing of animals; caring for horses; research project and work review and plan.
How will I be taught?

Through practical work with the horses on the yard which will include washing, grooming and handling. Work books, posters, quizzes and games will form part of your course delivery.
How will I be assessed?

Assessment is mainly via written assignments (including posters, presentations and projects) and some practical assessments. Other methods of assessment could include short tests.
