Special Features:
In the third year students will undertake the dissertation which provides the opportunity for individuals to do an indepth study on a specialised topic within your chosen subject area. Additional training including equitation is available to improve practical skills and gain British Horse Society qualifications and students have the opportunity to train and compete as part of the College Equestrian Team. The degree focuses on equine science; however scientific application is enhanced by applying the theory to practical elements throughout the course. Students will have the opportunity to fully utilise the extensive laboratories and equine facilities at the college.

Follow careers in the wide and diverse equine industry as nutritionists, research and laboratory managers, sales executives, lecturers. Many graduates continue their education and may progress to other areas of study or undertake postgraduate research at either Masters or Doctoral level.
