Keith Blackwell OBE Welcome to the Esher College website. I believe that Esher College offers you an ideal environment in which to set out on the next stage of your educational career. It is a place where you can enjoy yourself both academically and socially, and where you can develop the skills and qualities that will help you to prepare for the future. When you join us you will become part of a community of about 1500 full-time students from over 100 different schools, each following an individual learning programme relevant to their needs and ambitions. You will find a friendly and purposeful atmosphere where positive relationships are promoted at all times. Alongside our sixthform provision we also run a wide range of activities and courses focused on the needs of adults, businesses and the wider community, mainly taking place in the evenings, at week ends and outside of normal term time. We also have a proven track record in designing bespoke training for a variety of local and regional clients taking place on their premises. Following our absolutely fantastic 2005 Ofsted Inspection Report, which awarded us top grades for all areas inspected, we were identified by Ofsted as 'a particularly successful College' and we were awarded Beacon status. Subsequent annual visits from Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools confirmed this top classification, as did our May 2008 Ofsted Inspection Report, available on our website, which again accorded us the accolade of everything being judged 'outstanding'.
