Non residential and local English Language tuition in Carmarthen area. The course is tailor made to your needs and covers- listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. This is taught on a one to one or one to two basis as long as the level of English is similar.
The course ranges from Beginners to Advanced level, Ielts for the Medical Profession or students, Medical English and Specific English.
The courses can be taken by skype on a one to one basis or face to face in the home. Teaching books, DVD's, video and CD's will be used throughout the lessons to enhance the language progression.
The courses will increase your understanding of the English Language and increase your knowledge and ability to pass examinations including the Citizenship Exam.

About this course

The aim of each course is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the English Language to non native speakers of English.
From Beginner to Advanced level and Specific English including IELTS preparation.

The courses are intended for Beginners to Examination level students and Business English , including the Medical profession.

The courses are open access courses depending on the level of English so far and the needs of each person.

The are internal qualifications available or national Cambridge Examinations such as IELTS or First Certificate.

The course is taken by experienced State school and EFL / ESL teachers, local to the Carmarthen area.

Trained as a Secondary school teacher in Cardiff with qualifications from Cambridge. Taught in Essex State schools for over twenty years and with Language schools in the Cambridge area since. A teacher trainer as well as teacher for those who want to teach overseas or in the uk.

Course programme

The syllabus is based on the level of English and requirements of the clients.
These include speaking , listening, reading and writing skills.
The techniques include classroom based, skype, practical and Total Physical Response.
Language improvement is assessed through written and oral examinations.
Face to face teaching on skype or in the home. A variety of teaching material and teachniques are used to keep the lessons interesting and flexible.
Each student has the option to continue the course as a progression to a higher level.
