What do I need to get on the course?There are no formal qualifications, but an interview and assessment will take place to determine the correct level for you.
What would I learn on the course?You are taught the basics of reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. You will be taught grammar, including use of tenses, and read a range of texts to identify their purposes.
You will be taught the practical meaning of citizenship and about the rights and duties of being a citizen.
When do I have to attend college?You have to attend college for two 2¾ hour sessions each week, depending on your course schedule. We run courses in the mornings or evenings and, subject to availability you can choose which session to attend.
Once you have chosen a session you will need to always attend at this time.
What can I do after this course?When you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the next level course subject, to your ability.
