Course programme

Year 1

This course follows the adult ESOL curriculum helping learners to operate and achieve at national ESOL standards in Writing. You will be required to take an accredited exam at the end of the course and will have termly reviews. Your teacher will set individual targets for you to work towards to improve your English level


There are no formal requirements for entry onto this course. Your level of English will be assessed at an initial assessment interview that you will be invited to attend.

Additional information

You will be assessed against targets set by your teacher in the areas you want to improve. These will be reviewed regularly and your teacher will test your learning to check how you are doing. You will be required to keep a folder of your work. At the end of the course, you will take an exam at the appropriate level in Writing.
