ESSCA offered a great place and a good accomodation. The place was comfortable and living in your own apartment is always a better idea as you can invite your friends anytime in.

What I would highlight:
Overall habits and living cost in France is higher than other places. My only advice would be to not use French bank accounts even for as little inner-france transaction as they charge a lot where as in Austria you need not pay anything for regular banking services.

Food was expensive and so was travelling. Since I travelled a lot, my expenses were much. Rest of things like nightlife, telephone and housing was pretty much like home place.
