This exciting and intensive dual degree enables you to gain a Qualifying Law Degree as well as a Masters in Law (LLM) from Radboud University in the Netherlands in just three years.
During the course you will study European Law in-depth for two years at Nottingham Trent University, then in your third year you will complete the LLB in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, at Radboud University, where you will be awarded the additional Masters qualification. We believe that your experience living in another culture during your year abroad will develop your view of Law from a truly international perspective.

You will spend your final year at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands with all teaching delivered in English.

Public Law and Research SkillsExamine and research constitutional law concepts to develop an understanding of the relationship between the individual and the state. Exploring the protection of liberties and fundamental rights of the individual within the UK.

Study at Nottingham Law SchoolCriminal Law with Mooting
Expand your knowledge of criminal law and develop practical mooting skills that will enhance your employability. You will learn how to argue within a ground of appeal, how to research and write skeleton arguments, and how to use legal language effectively.
Land Law and Professional AdviceApply rules to solve legal problems in relation to land ownership. You will study the distinction between real and personal property and begin to draft professional advice in a property law context.
Law of Trusts and Advanced Legal ReasoningAcquire high-level knowledge of the law of trusts and examine decided cases in detail. Learn how to apply your legal knowledge to the classification of property, creation and dispositions of property interests and management of trust property.

Employment LawLearn to apply your legal knowledge to solve employment law problems. You will study both collective employment law and individual employment law.
Human RightsDevelop your understanding of human rights in an international context, exploring topics including the right to life, the right to a fair trial, freedom of religion, and freedom of expression.
Commercial LawEnhance your understanding of commercial law within a practical and business context. You will also be introduced to the key skill of negotiation and the possible strategies and tactics involved.
