You can study this flexible course full or part-time. Or take our blended learning option and study while working. The full time option also offers a work placement in the UK or abroad.

Whether you are a recent graduate looking to enhance your management career prospects or a current industry practitioner wanting to retrain or obtain an advanced, highly specialised qualification, this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the events industry at management level both in the UK and abroad.
A UK 2.2 (or above) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised British or overseas Institutions. All subjects are considered, but possession of degrees or relevant experience in related subjects will be advantageous

Course programme
You will develop your understanding of events operations, planning, risk management, marketing, finance and strategy; and you will have the opportunity to apply this understanding to conferences, exhibitions, festivals, product launches, trade shows and sporting events.
To complete the MSc Events Management, you’ll study modules such as:
Postgraduate Certificate- Ethnographies of Festival Consumption (20 credits)
- Event Operations and Risk Management (20 credits)
- Research Methodologies (20 credits)
- Integrated Business Management (40 credits)
- Strategic Directions (20 credits)
- Independent Scholarship (60 credits) - on this module you will develop your analytical and critical skills while investigating in detail a sector topic of your choice. Independent study forms the entire Masters stage of the programme.
