Course Aims:
For those wishing to refresh or improve their English skills

Course Content:
Whilst you will negotiate your own study programme with your tutor, the course will include skills such as:
Letter writing/Essay writing
Spelling/Punctuation
Reading skills/Using dictionaries

Progression:
After successful completion of the course, you can move onto other college courses at the appropriate level.

Awarding Body:
NCFE

Exam:
Assessment will be through the successful completion of a portfolio that is internally marked and externally verified

Qualification:
Certificate in Adult Literacy

Entry

2 hours per week for 30 weeks
