Course 115 - EXCAVATOR 180° or 360° - Wheeled or Tracked
(inc Mini Excavator)

• Be able to operate machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice
• Use ancillary attachments
• Carry out a pre-shift inspection
• Be able to operate safely under varying site conditions
• Be able to load and unload machine off a road transporter
• Be able to carry out minor adjustments and routine service
• Have an understanding of responsibilities under current relevant legislation.

All personnel required to operate a 180° or 360° excavator.

Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

1-10 days depending upon experience.

Eligible companies may be able to claim grants toward their Training as this course is CITB approved for grant purposes.

Intermediate Certificate, Scottish Progression Award, CPCS Trained Operator Card, RTITB or Theory & Practical.
