In Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Level 1, delegates created, edited, formatted, and printed basic spreadsheets. This course will enable delegates to streamline repetitive tasks and display spreadsheet data in more visually effective ways. The target students for this course are students who desire to gain the skills necessary to create templates, sort and filter data, import and export data, analyze data, and work with Excel on the web. In addition, this course helps prepare students who desire to take the Microsoft Office Specialist exam in Excel and who already have knowledge of the basics of Excel, including how to create, edit, format, and print basic worksheets.
Prerequisites
- Before starting this course, we recommended that delegates have attended the Excel 2007 Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge.
Objectives
- Delegates will be able to :
- Test a value in a specific cell to see if it meets a required criteria and display a warning in a cell if the data does not meet the required criteria.
- Create a summary sheet that will calculate the total for a range of sheets, without duplicating the data i.e. Maybe an expenses sheet that takes the monthly totals and displays them on a summary sheet.
- Filter a spreadsheet to show only the records that meet a specific criteria i.e. All surnames beginning with A.
- Display data in various graphical formats that can be easily understood by anyone not using Excel.
