This course will enable the delegate to gain a good general understanding of the main features of Excel, giving them the ability to produce their own standard spreadsheets, create their own formulae and format and print spreadsheets.
About this course
Previous use of a keyboard and mouse is assumed for this course. Delegates should have some working knowledge of using a Windows based PC or they should have completed the Introduction to Windows course. Delegates should feel at ease performing tasks such as arranging, sizing and switching between Windows.

Prerequisites

Objectives
- Delegates will be able to :
- Create a spreadsheet that will contain data. Navigate the spreadsheet using keyboard shortcuts. Add a New Column and Rows and saving the spreadsheet to their own folder.
- Create and format a spreadsheet using the main features of the Formatting toolbar to change the appearance of the spreadsheet.
- Performing the following calculations on a range of numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Use the following 5 Functions on a range of numbers to speed up basic calculations : Sum, Average, Count, Min, Max.
