Course format and assessment

The programme structure for this course consists of the following modules:

Leadership & People Management (15 credits)

Finance for Managers (15 credits)

Marketing Management (15 credits)

Strategy, Organisations and Change (15 credits)

Social Entrepreneurship (15 credits)

Research Dissertation (60 credits)

Institution-based methods study (60 credits)

Adequate development of practical skills is assessed partially indirectly and partially directly through successful performance in coursework. Many coursework assignments require students to explicitly utilise some of these practical skills, while the acquisition of adequate knowledge, and the development of sufficient understanding, in many modules will necessitate students utilising several of these key practical skills. The undertaking of an institution-based methods study provides the opportunity for students to demonstrate the practical skills that have been acquired through the course content.
