Why is External Wall Insulation Training a Good Idea?

Green Deal

The introduction of the ‘Green Deal’ is intended to reduce carbon emissions cost effectively by reforming the energy efficiency of British properties. This will require various modifications to be made to homes and businesses which will be paid for via a ‘Green Deal’ financial system. This system will eliminate the need for anyone to pay in advance for energy efficient alterations and adjustments to the home and instead provides reassurances that the cost of the measures should be covered by savings on the electricity bill. The Green Deal will enable many households and businesses to improve the energy efficiency of their properties so less energy is consumed and less money is wasted.

With such a drive on the UK meeting set targets to reduce carbon emissions, many things will have to change which means that new jobs will be created and qualified installers of the varying forms of insulation will be needed – this 5 day New Entrants EWI Course is the perfect opportunity for those of you not currently working within this industry to make that career change possible.

The course will provide you with an excellent introductory and from here you can opt for our more advanced 3 day External Wall Insulation (Boarder) course OR a more advanced 3 day External Wall Insulation (Finisher) course – either of which will enable you to move forward to NVQ registration and following on from there, if you would like to specialise in particular products, Able Skills is a training provider for Alumasc and attending this particular course will enable you to become one of their Approved Installers.
