Threading is a form of temporary hair removal an ancient technique similar to plucking but instead of using tweezers it involves the use of a twisted loop of antibacterial cotton thread. It gives the brows a sharp defined look that is hard to achieve with waxing or tweezering. It is quick to learn this technique and with practise can be a profitable service to add in the salon.

About this course

this Threading course focuses on how to achieve the perfect brow shape using the ancient art of eyebrow Threading. Students will learn how to create the perfect shape brow to suit individual clients face shape and brow design.

Ideal for beginners

Suitable for beginners. Must be 18+.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to successful students. Public liability insurance can be obtained through Professional Beauty Direct, ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists) and the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists. This course is also approved by Habia and is worth 8 CPD hours.

What do I need to know before I start the course?

Suitable for beginners. Students must be 18+. Students are required to work on each for the duration of the course, for this reason it is a pre-requisite that all students grow their body hair for practice of Threading before moving to the brow area. It is also recommended that students wear minimal eye make-up. We recommend you bring your own lunch.

Will I need to bring any materials?

All materials will be provided on the day all students will receive a workbook to reinforce learning, along with products to use for the duration of the course.
